Roland has been involved in children’s ministry for over 30 years, from teaching sunday school to directing day camps. After four years at Prairie Bible College, Roland served over six years with the Winnipeg Evangelical Free Church directing Adventurer's Day Camps, and during that time completed his masters in christian education at Providence Seminary. Roland and Marilyn have served with One Hope Canada since 1995 spending 20 summers reaching rural unchurched communities in BC with week long day camps. Roland has also served in promotion, administration and more recently served for four years as the Field Director for the BC Field. Roland and Marilyn have three adult children, one married and two in the process of leaving the nest. Roland oversees our online training centre, developing courses, and guiding students, but also takes time each year to serve at some of our Bible camps as camp speaker.
