Beatriz met Christ at a Bible camp in Nova Scotia when she first visited Canada in 1994. Ever since that experience, she has been involved in Christian ministries in Colombia and Mexico, especially supporting child, youth, and family groups. For the last 10 years, Beatriz has worked in administrative teams in several socio-educational projects in Mexico. She enjoys reading, walking, teaching, cooking, and sharing warm moments while drinking tasty Colombian coffee.
Beatriz, her husband Oscar Felipe, and their children Samuel and Marian moved to Winnipeg in July 2022 to pursue a new project in their life. They enjoy launching new projects, exploring multicultural experiences, and discovering what God has for them at every new stage in their journey.
