After completing 2 years of Bible College in British Columbia, Randy went back into the construction industry and started his business in 2008. He worked as a self-employed Project Manager building 14 residential houses a year in the Kamloops Area. Randy worked as a youth pastor for 6.5 years, volunteered as a pre-teen leader, and helped with multimedia and cameras for Historymaker.
After his kids attended camp for a couple of years, he and his wife Jessica saw the positive impact it had. Randy and Jessica had always wanted to do full-time missionary work with their family of five kids, and wanted a life change. They discovered that the new Directors of Lake of the Trees Bible Camp were Jessica’s old Youth Pastors, and through discussion, found out about the opportunity to work at the camp. As of April 2023, they decided to jump into the role and start their adventure.
